FLUSHING MEADOWS-CORONA PARK, Queens – As if the stakes at the 2024 US Open weren’t high enough, defending champions Coco Gauff and Novak Djokovic lead a field that will play for a record $75 million in the final Grand Slam tennis tournament of the year. The increase is about 15% over the 2023 event and is the largest prize in tennis history, according to the USTA.

With full compensation, the US Open will be ahead of the other three major tennis tournaments in 2024. Based on exchange rates at the time of the events, Wimbledon offered about $64 million in prize money, while the French Open and Australian Open each offered about $58 million.

The 2024 US Open women’s and men’s singles winners will each receive $3.6 million.
