Undercover investigators arrest two women for alleged prostitution at a massage parlor in northwest Harris County

CYPRESS – Investigators from Constable Mark Herman’s office arrested two women for prostitution at a massage parlor in northwest Harris County.

The robbery occurred Tuesday at Lucky Massage on Westgate Road in Cypress.

According to 4th District officials, residents complained about suspicious activity at the facility. Investigators then posed as customers and said two employees offered them sex and/or sexual acts in exchange for money.”

Yu-Hsuan Huang and Hsiu-Ching Huang, who are not licensed massage therapists, were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on charges of prostitution.

Their bonds were set at $100.00 each.

Massage parlors throughout the Houston area have been the target of similar investigations by authorities.

Beginning of the month Three people were arrested for prostitution at massage parlors in Friendswood.

According to Constable Mark Herman, these facilities are often used by criminals for a variety of illegal activities. He also stressed that these women may have been intimidated by human traffickers.

“Workers employed in such establishments can become victims of human trafficking through coercion, fraud, false promises and threats of serious harm, psychological damage, damage to reputation and debt manipulation.”
