Tyreek Hill gets cryptic on social media as NFL trade rumors spread

As NFL trade season approaches, one superstar is becoming cryptic on social media as the rumor mill churls.

Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill joined the party on Wednesday

“I woke up to exciting trading news,” Hill wrote on the platform.

While there’s no way to know what “exciting” trade news Hill was referring to, he still posted a follow-up message.

“I love trolling you weirdos,” he wrote with two crying, laughing emojis.

However, there were further concrete rumors about one of his colleagues this week.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Davante Adams requested a trade from the Raiders on Tuesday, which may have piqued Hill’s interest.

“All I can control is this conversation we’re having here. And when we’re done with this, the only thing I can control is what I do next,” Adams said during a Tuesday morning interview on “Up & Adams with Kay Adams.”

“I’m about to get up and have a nice workout and that’s all I can control.”

Adams has already been linked to the Jets and Saints, both of which would reunite him with one of his former quarterbacks – Aaron Rodgers or Derek Carr.

The Dolphins fell to 1-3 after losing to the Titans on Monday night, leading some to believe they might call it a day with Hill in what appeared to be a lost season.

Still, despite recent on-field issues, getting Hill out of Miami appears to be rather difficult.

With Skylar Thompson and Tyler Huntley at center after Tagovailoa suffered a concussion in Week 2, Hill has caught just seven passes for 63 yards over the past two weeks.

These guys come on the heels of a huge Week 1 with a healthy Tagovailoa, in which he caught seven passes for 130 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown catch.

He had more than 1,700 receiving yards and exactly 119 catches in each of the last two seasons with the Dolphins.
