Tyler O’Neill, Mickey Gasper Start

The Red Sox play their second-to-last game of the regular season on Saturday and hope to bounce back against the Rays.

Tampa Bay won the series opener against Boston at Fenway Park on Friday. It was Nick Pivetta’s final start of the season, but the offense couldn’t pass the starter in the 2-1 loss.

Manager Alex Cora will provide some variety on Saturday, with Tyler O’Neill back in the starting line-up. He’ll patrol left field and bat fourth ahead of Mickey Gasper, who will start as the designated hitter ahead of Masataka Yoshida. Romy González starts at third base and Danny Jansen comes in at catcher.

Cutter Crawford will look to cap off his breakout season with a positive result in his final start of the season.
