Tulsi Gabbard: Tulsi Gabbard remembers being told in 2016, “How dare you meet Donald Trump?”

Tulsi Gabbard remembers being told in 2016,
Tulsi Gabbard says her former party demonized Donald Trump.
Donald Trump aide and former Democratic Party leader Tulsi Gabbard said Democrats have long dehumanized Donald Trump, and she was sharply criticized when she met Donald Trump in 2016, shortly after his election as president. Commenting on Fox News about Trump assassination suspect Ryan Routh and the fact that he was not on the government’s terror list, Tulsi said it made no sense that she was on the Democratic administration’s terror list but the person who attempted the second assassination in Florida was not.
Last Sunday, 58-year-old Ryan Routh was arrested after he was caught nesting near the golf course and pointing a gun at the former president. Before he could shoot, Secret Service agents opened fire, and he immediately fled. Ryan was later caught and charged. Ryan had no military background, but was in Ukraine following the 2022 Russian invasion.
“They put me on a secret domestic terrorist list. How come this guy is not on a secret domestic terrorist list? I serve in our military. I was a member of Congress for eight years. I was a presidential candidate, and yet the Harris-Biden administration decided to put me on a secret domestic terrorist list while this guy appears to be able to travel freely without having federal air marshals assigned to monitor him and his every move. And that’s what underscores the seriousness of what we’re facing,” Tulsi said.
“The reality is that my former party and the mainstream media have demonized President Trump for years. I first met him in 2016. I was a member of Congress on the Foreign Affairs and Armed Services Committee. Two weeks after his election, he had not even taken his oath of office, I was invited to speak to him about a new direction in foreign policy and tried to block the neoconservatives who were jockeying for position at the time,” Tulsi said.
“As soon as I left Trump Tower in New York City, my phone was blowing up with outrage and was being attacked by my fellow Democrats at the time. Their main complaint was: How dare you meet with Donald Trump and humanize him? You’ve been dehumanizing him for years, making him into this evil, Hitler-like caricature. So we shouldn’t be surprised if their supporters take this seriously and take it upon themselves to try to take him down,” Ms Gabbard said.
Tulsi Gabbard is seeking a top foreign policy position in a possible Trump administration. Tulsi Gabbard’s support for Trump was a major boost to the Trump campaign, as Ms. Gabbard said she believed Trump would bring America back from the brink of war.
