On Monday, Donald Trump started a casual chat with his best buddy Elon Musk on the billionaire’s social media platform. The almost two-hour audio chat was supposed to be entertaining – at least that’s what Musk promised.

As political pundits were busy noting Trump’s claims and the number of attacks on Harris and Biden, many noticed that the 78-year-old candidate had a slight lisp. Musk had said the chat was to give people “a feel for how Donald Trump speaks.” But instead, people were more concerned with Trump’s funny-sounding voice.

Trump’s campaign team responds to lisp allegations

A Trump campaign spokesperson was quick to dismiss concerns about the former president’s speech, assuring that nothing was wrong. When the Daily Beast asked about Trump’s voting debacle, the campaign’s blunt response was, “That must be your ears.”

After Joe Biden dropped out of the race for the White House following allegations of cognitive impairment, many are now questioning Trump’s suitability for the office – especially given the fact that he is only a few years younger than Biden.
