Trump TV hosts claimed the Bible shows God saved the former president Donald Trump from an assassination attempt and contains some precise details about the book of Leviticus and pig’s blood.
At the Democratic National Convention (DNC) on Tuesday night, Obama made a gesture that many interpreted as a mockery of penis size when he derided Trump’s “weird obsession with crowd size.”
Trump and his running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) delivered a national security speech in Asheboro, North Carolina this week, but fans poured in hours beforehand and the Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN) was on hand as usual.
The duo of Bobby McNeily And Megan Kohler spent the hours before the rally making hours of pro-Trump commentary, including several claims that God had saved Trump from assassination—a premise Trump himself supports.
But McNeily went into more detail and drew parallels to passages from Leviticus and Exodus about blood anointing in the Old Testament:
BOBBY MCNEILY: But what, this is really courage under fire. We have two iconic photos now. President Trump, the arrest photo, the mug shot that I have, and a T-shirt of it.
And now you have the legendary fight, fight, fight. And that blood-soaked fist in the air.
What’s interesting about this is that there’s a lot of biblical prowess behind it too, because in the Levitical priesthood in the Old Testament, the blood was set apart to not only spread the gospel, the Word of God at that time, but Aaron and his sons were anointed with the blood of the lamb or pig. The sacrifice was anointed on the right ear. Usually the right thumb or the right middle finger and then the right big toe to be set apart and spread God’s story and His Word.
And when I heard this story, I got goosebumps because I wasn’t aware of it.
MEGAN KOHLER: Right.
BOBBY MCNEILY: Until after the assassination. So I think there was a lot of divine intervention.
MEGAN KOHLER: Absolutely!
BOBBY MCNEILY: That was part of it. There’s no doubt about that.
MEGAN KOHLER: Yes. If anyone ever doubted that there was divine intervention, it is that when you look at the entire sequence of events and how it all played out, God was involved! God protected President Trump, and he will continue to work through this movement.
BOBBY MCNEILY: Oh, he really is. And we’ve seen that in this country. He’s working on everything. And President Trump has clearly addressed this on several occasions. And he said, you really aren’t going to talk about it. Or he’s not going to talk about it again at length.
