Kamala Harris’ And Donald Trump’s Presidential campaigns in Pennsylvania have stepped up their efforts.
In 2008 and 2012, the state voted for the Democratic candidate. However, in 2016, Pennsylvania chose the Republican candidate. In 2020, the state then voted for the Democrats.
Today, Trump took part in a roundtable discussion in Pennsylvania to gain support from American farmers. Trump said he would pass a national sales tax with or without Congress.

Republican Representative from New York Anthony D’Esposito gave his mistress and his fiancée’s daughter part-time jobs after winning his seat in Congress in 2022, the New York Times reports.
D’Esposito’s hiring decisions may violate congressional ethics rules, particularly those against nepotism and entering into relationships with employees under his supervision.
Both were employed in his district office, with the fiancée’s daughter earning $3,800 a month and the woman involved in the affair earning $2,000 a month.
This morning, Donald Trump was asked about his plan to impose a blanket tariff on all imports and also impose higher tariffs on goods from China in order to take money out of the pockets of his rivals.
“I don’t need Congress to approve it, but they will,” the former president said. “If they don’t, I have the right to enforce it myself.”
A spokeswoman for Harris’ campaign responded to these comments: “This is the core idea of Trump’s ‘Project 2025’ strategy: He wants to seize power, squeeze the middle class out of nearly $4,000 a year, and exacerbate high costs – all while he and his billionaire friends get more tax breaks,” she said.
Vance avoids questions about Mark Robinson during campaign rally in North Carolina
JD Vance was repeatedly asked by reporters about Mark Robinson. The crowd booed each time.
“As I said, it’s Mark Robinson’s job to make his case to the people of North Carolina,” Vance said. “I’m not going to do that for him and the people of North Carolina have to decide whether they believe him or not.”
Robinson, the Republican candidate for governor in North Carolina, is facing increasing pressure to drop out of the gubernatorial race after a scathing CNN report said he made offensive and sexually explicit comments on the porn site Nude Africa between 2008 and 2012.
“I really can’t believe that the American media is focusing so much more on this than on the struggles of their fellow citizens,” Vance said.
Shortly thereafter, Vance finished his speech.

During his rally in Charlotte JD Vance called gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson’s CNN reported that he said he found comments he had not uncovered (including calling himself a “black Nazi”) “disgusting.”
However, he added that Robinson claimed the comments, which appeared on a porn forum in 2010, were never his.
“I think it’s up to Mark Robinson to prove to the state of North Carolina that these were not his statements.”
Vance says it is his ‘responsibility’ to ‘listen to people’ when asked about false claims about eating pets
JD Vance was asked if he would change the way he spreads the debunked false claims about the kidnapping and consumption of pets in Springfield, Ohio.
“My responsibility is to listen to the people I serve, not the biased media, and I will continue to do that in Springfield, Ohio,” he responded. “To the people of this great state of North Carolina, I will always listen to you, even when the media attacks me. I will listen to you about what is going on in your communities.”
“I wish the American media were half as interested in the strain on local schools, the strain on hospitals, the unaffordable housing as they are and would debunk a story that comes from the residents of Springfield,” Vance said.

During a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, JD Vance has tapped into a source of grievances and blamed “illegal aliens” for the opioid epidemic and the fentanyl plague in the United States.
Vance was condemned for his baseless claim that Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio, were stealing and eating cats and dogs belonging to community members. He has since reiterated his claims, suggesting in an interview with CNN that he had permission to “make up stories” to generate interest in an issue such as immigration.
At his rally in North Carolina, Vance said Harris was a “bad person for causing this border crisis” and that he and others were “not bad people for complaining about it.”
At the end of his speech JD Vance supported Trump’s environmental policy plans. Trump plans to repeal the Biden administration’s anti-inflation law and its cleantech subsidies.
“You want to talk about why our farmers are struggling so much? Because everything from the diesel fuel they consume to the fertilizer they use has become more expensive because of Kamala Harris’ energy policies,” Vance said.
Now he is answering questions from reporters.
JD Vance told the story of his mother, who struggled with opioid addiction, to attack Kamala Harris’ Politics on the southern border.
Harris said she hopes to revive the border compromise bill, which would close loopholes in the asylum process. She also supports an earned path to citizenship.
“We want Donald Trump because he will enable us to protect the border,” Vance said.
These comments follow false, racist rumors that pets were being kidnapped and eaten in a town in his home state of Ohio.
During his speech in Charlotte, North Carolina, JD Vance said American families can no longer afford basic necessities, citing the higher price of a carton of eggs compared to prices during former President Trump’s administration.
“We believe that if you work hard and follow the rules, you should be able to provide a good life for your American family,” Vance said.
He also said gasoline and house prices have risen. “We just need to get back to common sense economic policies,” he said.
“Without home ownership, the American dream doesn’t exist,” Vance said.
JD Vance attacked Kamala Harrisand said she was avoiding media interviews and questions about the economy.
“How can we trust Kamala Harris to represent us before the most dangerous regimes in the world when she won’t even make herself available for an interview with the American media?” Vance asked.
“It’s funny to get the answer from her about what her real plans are for the American people,” he said.
Vance: North Carolina could be the state that “turns the country red”
JD Vance has taken the stage. The Republican vice presidential candidate said North Carolina is one of the most important states in the race.
“It will be the state that turns the country red,” Vance said. “We will Donald Trump back to the White House, and we will do it thanks to the great patriots of this state.”
“Donald Trump has a track record to be proud of, and Kamala Harris has a past to be ashamed of, so we will not promote her,” Vance added.
