Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday demanded an “apology” from “60 Minutes” for rejecting The Post’s laptop story about Hunter Biden in 2020, pointing out that he did not do an interview with the TV News magazine until he gets one.

“They came to me and wanted me to do an interview, but first I want an apology because the last time I did an interview with them, if you remember, they challenged me on the computer,” Trump said told reporters in Milwaukee.

“They said the laptop from hell was from Russia, and I said, ‘It wasn’t from Russia.’ “It was from Hunter,” he added. “And I never got an apology.”

Trump, 78, was referring to “60 Minutes” reporter Lesley Stahl, who admitted to him in a 2020 sit-down that she had refused to tell the Post about the Post’s bombshell “Hunter Biden” laptop story in 2020 report because “It cannot be verified.”

CBS News finally confirmed the authenticity of the laptop — which linked President Biden to his son Hunter and brother Jim Biden’s foreign influence operations — 769 days after The Post broke the story.

The show claims that Trump’s campaign team “agreed to sit down with 60 Minutes” – the show aired on October 7 – but backed out after “initially” a request for an interview between the Republican candidate and which reporter Scott Pelley accepted.

The Trump campaign disputes this account.

“Fake news,” Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung wrote on X. “60 Minutes begged for an interview even after they were caught lying about Hunter Biden’s laptop in 2020.”

“There were initial discussions, but nothing was ever planned or finalized,” he added.

The program said the election special, in which correspondent Bill Whitaker interviews Vice President Kamala Harris, will go on as planned without Trump.

“I’d like to do ’60 Minutes,'” Trump said of the possibility of reaching a last-minute deal with the program. “I do everything.”

“I asked her to apologize. Let’s see if they can do it,” he added.
