This summer, Troy University has been busy filling out its future non-league football schedules, and this week added a home-and-away series with Louisiana Tech for the 2030 and 2032 seasons.

In the first game, the Trojans will host Louisiana Tech on September 14, 2023, while Troy will travel to Louisiana Tech on September 25, 2032. These games will mark the first time the two schools have met on the football field.

“His streak will draw national attention and attention,” said Troy University athletic director Brent Jones. “LA Tech is a traditionally strong team and has won eight or more games seven times in the last 13 seasons.”

The first meeting between the two schools will be the first non-conference game Troy has scheduled for the 2030 season, while Louisiana Tech will join UAB in two non-conference games already scheduled for 2032.

This summer, Troy finalized nonconference slates for 2025 (Memphis, Nicholls State, Clemson and Buffalo), 2026 (Sam Houston State, Alabama State, Mississippi State and Missouri), 2027 (Mississippi State, Southeastern Louisiana, Buffalo and Miami, Fla.) and 2028 (North Carolina State, West Georgia, UAB and Clemson). So far, Troy has scheduled at least one opponent for each season through 2039.
