Trine honors long-standing employees

During its annual Fall Commencement event on Monday, August 12, at the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts, Trine University recognized its long-serving employees.

Kristina Brewer, director of library, assessment and accessibility services, was honored for 30 years of service.

Greg Perschke, Director of Admissions, was honored for 25 years of service.

Three employees were honored for their 20 years of service: Barry Emerick, assistant director of golf operations, Josh Hornbacher, executive producer of the Trine Broadcasting Network, and Julie Pfafman, senior assistant to the executive director for academic affairs.

These employees were honored for their 15 years of service: Barry Aldrich, housekeeper; Kelly Howe, housekeeper; Wendy Kipfer, campus appointment coordinator; Marek Kolar, Ph.D., associate professor of business administration; Vinnie Lang, assistant professor of exercise science; Tony Layson, Ph.D., professor of chemistry; Kevin Molyet, Ph.D., associate professor of design engineering; Dean Orewiler, creative multimedia specialist; Hong Park, Ph.D., professor of science; and Chuck Stommel, event coordinator and assistant director of event services.
