Travis Kelce’s sad reaction on the bench against the Falcons worried NFL fans

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce hasn’t looked like himself at all this season. He’s even looked sadder.

The Chiefs star, who once made headlines for aggressively shoving coach Andy Reid, looked like a completely different person during Sunday night’s Week 3 game against the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Cameras caught Kelce sitting on the bench during the game with a thoughtful expression on his face, pausing briefly to wipe something from his eye.

Kelce came into Sunday’s game having made just four catches for 39 yards in the first two games of the season. Fans thought the All-Pro tight end could step it up a gear this week against the Falcons, but unfortunately he wasn’t much more involved in the passing game, catching four of five attempts for 30 yards on the night.

The chemistry between Kelce and Mahomes just wasn’t there, as NBC announcer Cris Collinsworth noted during the halftime broadcast.

Kelce’s sad look on the Chiefs bench has since spread like wildfire on social media, and NFL fans are desperately hoping this isn’t the end for the 12-year veteran.
