Travis Kelce’s representatives have slammed a “completely false and fabricated” document circulating online that purports to lay out a strategy for how the NFL star and Taylor Swift plan to end their years-long relationship. The document suggests that the romance itself was fabricated for PR reasons.
The alleged “comprehensive media plan” for a supposed split between the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the pop superstar appeared to have been created by Kelce’s representatives at Los Angeles-based Full Scope, the Daily Mail and Page Six reported.
The “plan,” on Full Scope letterhead, revealed a strategy to make the split public on September 28, accompanied by an announcement that would be “friendly, respectful and built on mutual respect,” the Daily Mail reported. The document outlined what the statement might include: “Example: Travis and Taylor have decided to go their separate ways after careful consideration. They both value and respect each other’s personal lives and appreciate your respect for privacy during this time.”
The plan also called for three days to pass “after the separation” to “let the initial media hype die down and create clarity.”
And as the document made the rounds Tuesday night, it also suggested that the couple’s much-publicized romance itself was fabricated for media attention, TMZ noted.
On Tuesday, a representative for Full Scope issued a statement to the Daily Mail saying the “false” document was “not created, issued or authorized by this agency.”
The spokesman also said the company had hired lawyers to identify the culprits and “initiate proceedings against the individuals or companies responsible for the unlawful and damaging forgery of documents.”
A source familiar with the situation told Page Six that the document could be a school project by a diehard fan. The “telltale” sign that the document was created by a student is the frequent use of words like “objective” – words that appear to be common in college homework, the source explained. In addition, the source said, Full Scope’s logo is readily available on the internet, including on the company’s website, potentially making it easy for anyone to create a fake document and share it on social media.
Contrary to the belief that Kelce and Swift are heading for a split, Page Six reported that the internationally known couple could be close to taking the next step in their relationship. People close to the couple have revealed that “an engagement is on the cards.”
In fact, Page Six reported that a source revealed back in January that the Chiefs star had asked Swift’s father, Scott Swift, for her hand in marriage, and that Scott Swift had “wholeheartedly” accepted.
Another insider told Page Six in August that an engagement would happen “soon.”
Kelce and Swift have been dating since July 2023 and made their relationship public in September 2023 when she attended his NFL game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
The “Cruel Summer” singer became a fixture at Kelce’s games during the 2023-24 NFL season, including Super Bowl LVIII, when the Chiefs defeated the 49ers 25-22. Kelce, in turn, joined her on her Era tour stops in Europe over the summer, including at London’s Wembley Stadium, where the couple posed for selfies with Prince William and his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
