“Say what you say and go viral”: The rumors that “Lavender Haze” singer Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce have a separation agreement are “completely false,” according to Kelce’s PR agency.
Full Scope Public Relations, which represents the Kansas City tight end, issued a statement Wednesday putting an end to the talk after photos of a separation agreement from a now-deleted Reddit page made the rounds internationally, according to People and E Online. USA TODAY has reached out to Full Scope PR for comment.
“These documents are completely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorized by this agency,” Full Scope PR said in a statement leaked to some media outlets.
The document featured the Full Scope Public Relations logo and was titled “Travis Kelce’s Comprehensive Public Relations Media Plan Following Breakup With Taylor Swift.”
The accompanying text included a goal: “To effectively manage and mitigate the consequences of the separation between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, ensure that Travis Kelce maintains a positive public image, minimizes negative media portrayals, and continues to work on his personal and professional brand.”
Full Scope Public Relations is working with Reddit’s legal department to review potential legal action.
“We have instructed our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or companies responsible for the unlawful and damaging forgery of documents,” said Full Scope PR.
Swift’s team did not respond to a request for comment.
Chiefs face Ravens on Thursday night
Kelce will take the field for the first game of the regular season on Thursday night when the Chiefs face the Baltimore Ravens at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Although there is no confirmation yet, Swift will likely participate as she takes a two-month break in her Eras Tour schedule.
On Tuesday, Kelce gushed about his girlfriend when asked about her interest in football and whether she has designed some plays for the team.
“I think what makes her so good at her job is she’s so detail-oriented in every aspect, from the lyrics to the music to the releases and music videos and everything,” he said IN A PRE-GAME PRESS CONFERENCE? OR shall we say where. “She’s so detail-oriented and part of it is I think she was just curious about the job. I know none of the plays have reached Coach (Andy) Reid yet, but if they ever do, I’ll make sure everyone knows it was her creation.”
