The video shows the 34-year-old athlete sitting on the sidelines, wiping the sweat from his nose and eyebrows and then looking into the distance.

In response to the video, one X user commented, “Whoever hurts this golden retriever of a man I will fight.”

“If you feel sorry for Travis, remember he’s going home to THE Taylor Swift,” another chimed in.

Meanwhile, Swifties expressed fears that there could be trouble in paradise due to Kelce’s depressed demeanor and his girlfriend’s conspicuous absence.

Travis Kelce talks about his performance

In Kansas City’s 22-17 win over Atlanta, Kelce caught four passes for 30 yards. This season, the nine-time Pro Bowler has caught just eight passes for 69 yards and scored zero touchdowns.

In the podcast “New Heights,” which he co-hosts with his brother Jason, Travis revealed last week that he “always got really, really angry and almost lost his nerve” when he didn’t have good games.

Nevertheless, Travis stated that he would not be discouraged by his lackluster performance in the first two weeks.

“I stopped caring about statistics about four or five years ago and just went out and started playing freely,” he told the audience. “I think that’s a better mindset.”

Patrick Mahomes talks about Travis Kelce’s small role in the Chiefs’ offense

Travis’ teammate Patrick Mahomes also shed light on the “Catching Kelce” alumnus’ performance over the weekend and explained why he didn’t really come into his own in the first three games.

Patrick’s statement came after the Chiefs defeated the Falcons 3-0 on the road on Sunday night.

The 29-year-old quarterback told reporters: “We call a lot of plays for Travis and it’s like two or three people go to him. He understands – that’s the great thing about him: He wants to impact the game, but at the end of the day he wants to win.”

“People are very keen to take him out and make room for other guys.”

Patrick and his wife Brittany Mahomes have become good friends with Swift since the singer started dating Travis.
