Travis Kelce makes fun of his brother Jason’s too-small shirt during his Monday Night Football debut
Travis Kelce made fun of his brother Jason Kelce for wearing a shirt that was too small during his debut on Monday Night Countdown.
The 36-year-old former Philadelphia Eagles player was introduced by ESPN host Scott Van Pelt, who explained that the former athlete was wearing a white button-down shirt that he bought “at the mall today” because he forgot his duffel bag.
“It fits my stomach now. I’ve lost a bit of weight, but I still have problems with my tits,” Jason replied, trying to cover his chest that was peeking out from under the shirt.
Travis, 34, was delighted by his brother’s mishap, writing in the Instagram comments on the ESPN video: “Surprised he even bought a new one and didn’t just walk around shirtless.”
The tight end was apparently referring to Jason ripping his shirt off to celebrate Travis’ touchdown during the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Buffalo Bills in January.
This iconic moment left Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift speechless as Jason subsequently jumped from her VIP suite into the stands of Highmark Stadium.
While the “Lover” singer cheered Jason on, his wife Kylie Kelce tried to control the situation by yelling at the former professional football player to “get his ass back here.”
Travis learned of his brother’s antics immediately after the game and told Westwood One Sports that he was “not surprised in the least.”
“I love this guy. And every time we’re not on the field together, we cheer each other on,” he said with a smile.
Back then, Jason attended his little brother’s first game of the 2022-2023 season after the Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the playoffs.
Jason also supported Travis at the 2024 Superbowl, along with Swift and her A-list crew, as the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas.
In March, the father of three announced his retirement from the NFL after 13 seasons.
