State of Colorado wide receiver Tory Horton is a game time decision against Coloradoaccording to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

“Sources: Colorado State star WR Tory Horton will not play until the Colorado game,” Thamel wrote on Twitter. “He returned to practice Friday and is expected to try to play. He caught 16 passes for 133 yards last year and also threw a touchdown pass against Colorado.”

Although Rams quarterback lost 43-35 to the Buffs in overtime last season, Brayden Fowler and wide receiver Horton shared their thoughts ahead of Saturday’s rivalry game.

“We owe them,” Horton said. “And that’s something that’s been on our minds since we came back from the break. We owe them and we went out of the game leaving everything on the field. I don’t think we left everything on the field because we should have killed them and. They came out with that attitude like they were on top of the world and this is not a Cinderella fairytale. We’re coming out for revenge.”

Horton was all over the field during the game, catching 16 passes for 133 yards and a touchdown during the loss.

Horton feels his intentions at Colorado State are purer than those in Colorado.

“We all came here to play football,” Horton said. “At the end of the day, they’ve created millions of followers and fans and got celebrities to side with them because Deion Sanders is who he is. At the end of the day, Deon Sanders doesn’t play. It’s these players that play, so these players bring it back up and talk about it.”
