CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – This weekend, sing along to Matilda the Musical, stroll through the 4th Annual Women of Clarksville Expo, raise awareness at Sebastian’s Rescue Ride and watch a movie with the family at the park!
Matilda the Musical: With its high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, children and adults alike will be captivated by this story of an extraordinary girl who dares to take a stand and change her destiny. Performances begin Friday, August 23 through September 1 at the Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St. Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for children under 10.
Women of Clarksville Expo: Visit the City of Clarksville for the 4th Annual Women of Clarksville Expo! Admission is free and the expo features health screenings, vendors and food trucks. The event will be held on Saturday, August 24th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Emerald, 2631 Highway 41A Bypass.
Sebastian’s rescue mission: Mikaela’s Mutt Motel will bring animals for adoption, followed by a motorcycle ride, vigil and meal to continue to raise awareness for missing Sumner County resident Sebastian Rogers. The event will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 24 at Fallen Brewery, 1761 Jardco Drive. A donation of $25 is requested.
MoCo film evening: Visit Montgomery County where a family-friendly movie night is held during the summer season. The film The little super rascals plays on Saturday, August 24th, at 7:30 p.m. at Civitan Park, 650 Bellamy Lane
