Freddie Flintoff’s “Field of Dreams” on tour

9pm, BBC One

“I wanted the boys to learn to step out of their comfort zone.” Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff was planning this sequel to his 2022 show about a teenage cricket club in Preston when the unthinkable happened and he was pulled out of his own comfort zone. This series was filmed before and after Flintoff’s car crash on the set of Top Gear, in which he suffered serious injuries. In this first episode, his team travels to India. It will be an intense and life-changing experience for everyone involved, including Flintoff. Phil Harrison

Julia Bradbury and former Royal Marine JJ Chalmers gain access to the heart of the Royal Navy. Bradbury explores the largest and most powerful ship in the fleet, HMS Prince of Wales, while Chalmers returns to the naval command centre in Devon to recall – not too fondly – the torments of basic training.
