The wife of Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee saved one of her dogs from a coyote attack in their backyard, a terrifying video shows.

Actress and stand-up comedian Brittany Furlan shared a video of the horrific incident on her Instagram page on Tuesday after it was captured by her Ring security camera in Woodland Hills, California.

“I let the dogs out to pee and a coyote came and grabbed Neena in broad daylight,” Furlan wrote on Instagram. “Please be very careful with your dogs. I’ve lived here for four years and have never seen a coyote and then today this happened.”

The video shows the wild dog charging toward her two dogs in the backyard, grabbing her cream-colored long-haired miniature dachshund, Neena, by the pool and sprinting away.

The camera shows Furlan running after the animal, and when she comes back into frame, Lee is outside screaming, “A coyote got Neena!”

“I climbed up the wall and got it out of his mouth. Thank God it’s a little fat because he couldn’t get it over the wall with it. If it had been small, it would have been gone,” Furlan shared on social media.

The entertainer said Neena was “safe” and her other dog appeared unaffected by the coyote in the video.

“I don’t even let the dogs out anymore. This is ridiculous. Hug your babies big,” Furlan told his fans.

In May, a coyote slipped through a dog door and attacked a man and his Chihuahua in the Los Angeles area. Both were bitten by the wild animal while the owner tried to protect his small pet.

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife states that coyotes are native to the state and can be found in both rural, residential and urban areas.

Experts from the nonprofit organization Citizens for Los Angeles Wildlife recommend never leaving dogs outside unattended. If a coyote is spotted, small pets should be picked up immediately because they “can easily climb most neighborhood fences.” Pet owners are also advised not to leave food or water outside.

Hours after Furlan posted the “creepy” video on her Instagram, she shared an update showing Neena enjoying a large box of treats that her neighbors had dropped off after hearing about her rough day.

Furlan rose to fame after gaining a large following on Vine, a now-closed short-form video platform, before moving to TikTok and Instagram and gaining millions of fans.

The content creator met Tommy Lee on the exclusive celebrity dating app Raya in 2017 and the two married on Valentine’s Day 2019.
