Tommy Lee’s dog is caught by a coyote in the backyard; wife Brittany Furlan pulls the animal out of its mouth

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A horrific coyote attack was caught on camera in the San Fernando Valley home of rocker Tommy Lee and his wife Brittany Furlan.

A video posted by Furlan shows the couple’s two dogs outside by the backyard pool when a coyote runs up and grabs Neena, their 10-year-old long-haired English cream dachshund, in its mouth.

The coyote tries to run away and jump over the back wall, but Brittany gives chase.

She says she managed to climb the wall and free Neena from the coyote’s mouth.

“Neena is safe,” she posted. “I climbed the wall and got her out of his mouth. Thank goodness she’s a little fat because he couldn’t get her over the wall.”

Tommy Lee was in the house at the time and can be seen running outside after hearing her screams. But by that time, she had already rescued Neena. The coyote fled.

Brittany, an actress and comedian, says she and Tommy had never seen a coyote in their yard before – and this one jumped over a 10-foot wall.

She explains that she posted the disturbing video on her Instagram account, which has over two million followers, so that as many people as possible could see it and remain alert to potential threats to their beloved pets.
