Baker Mayfield caused a stir earlier this month when he said that Tom Brady caused his Buccaneers teammates a sense of “stress” during his time with the franchise, which included a Super Bowl victory over the Kansas City Chiefs have.

Well, during Sunday’s Eagles-Bucs broadcast on FOX, Brady responded to that claim with a very brutal statement about how seriously he took his job when he was in Tampa.

First of all, here’s what Mayfield said:

“The building was a little different with Tom in it. Obviously Tom is different in terms of play. He was talking to everyone, the atmosphere was tense, so I think everyone was pretty stressed,” Mayfield said. “They wanted me to come in, be myself and bring the joy of football back to the boys who weren’t having as much fun.”

And here’s what Brady had to say about it on Sunday:

“I thought it would be stressful not having Super Bowl rings,” Brady said. “It wasn’t a daycare… If I wanted to have fun, I would take my kids to Disneyland. There’s a way to approach this game and that’s with the right mindset to push teammates.”
