Tom Brady prepares for Texas-Michigan with epic hype video

When you drive through Ann Arbor, you’ll notice something everywhere: pride.

Proud of the colors that paint the city.

Proud about the newly won national championship.

Proud of the most wins in college football history, three Heismans and 107,000 who thrill the Big House every Saturday.

But today our pride is being tested by a burnt-orange delegation from the South with just as much at stake and just as bad a reputation.

This is the introduction to a hair-raising video that sets up Saturday’s big duel between No. 3 Texas and No. 10. Michigan And (12:00 p.m. ET on FOX and the FOX Sports app), narrated by none other than former Wolverines quarterback and new FOX sportscaster Tom Brady.

As Brady points out in the video, these two storied teams have only met once, but it was a thrilling game that saw Vince Young’s Longhorns defeat Chad Hennes’ Wolverines 38-37 in the 2005 Rose Bowl thanks to a Dusty Mangum field goal as time expired.

And even though Saturday’s contest is in Week 2, there’s still a lot at stake as both teams look to provide a career-enhancing win to the College Football Playoff committee, which will begin compiling the standings later in the season.

And more than that, it’s about bragging rights. It’s about, as Brady put it, pride.
