Tom Brady hugs Mike Tyson before the Cowboys’ game against the Saints at AT&T Stadium … where the 58-year-old boxer will face Jake Paul in two months

Before the game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New Orleans Saints, two heavyweights of their respective sports met in the midfield.

Tom Brady, the greatest quarterback of all time, and Mike Tyson, one of the greatest boxers, both met at the 50-yard line at AT&T Stadium.

The couple hugged and exchanged a few words while cameras photographed the two of them together.

Later, Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, who gave Brady a football, joined Brady and Tyson for a posed photo.

Brady is there as he calls the shots for a 1 p.m. game for FOX Sports in his second week as an NFL commentator.

Luckily for Brady, he was able to cover one of the teams in his first week when the Cowboys defeated the Cleveland Browns.

Unfortunately for the quarterback, his broadcast debut did not go as planned as he received mediocre to negative reviews.

While his colleagues at FOX praised him for his performance, both media analysts and fans were more critical of the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

“Maybe someone should have listened to Tom Brady before spending $300 million on him,” read one scathing social media post, while another echoed the criticism, adding, “Tom Brady can’t seem to form sentences that have anything resembling a normal rhythm.”

Richard Deitsch, a senior media reporter for The Athletic, gave an unbiased assessment of Brady’s performance, saying he sounded like it was his first time in a locker room, but he needed more time to adjust.

“On Sunday, Brady seemed like someone trying to learn the craft in real time. That’s not a criticism. It’s just the reality,” Deitsch wrote in his column.

It is unclear why Brady is commentating on this game and not the later FOX game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Arizona Cardinals.

Tyson will return to the building in mid-November this year to fight Jake Paul.

Tyson will return to the building in mid-November this year to fight Jake Paul.

One possible reason could be that Birmingham City, a club he partly owns, are playing against Ryan Reynolds’ Wrexham in an EFL League One match.

After Reynolds and co-owner Rob McElhenney recruited Eli Manning for the competition, Brady posted a response video with one of his Super Bowl trophies and said, “See you Monday!”

The game starts at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, so Brady could take a flight from Dallas to the UK right after the game.

As for Tyson, the 58-year-old is preparing for his return to the ring against YouTuber and former Disney star Jake Paul on November 15 at AT&T Stadium.

The fight was originally scheduled to take place in July but was postponed when the former heavyweight champion suffered a stomach ulcer outbreak on board a domestic flight.

Tyson was replaced by former UFC fighter and bare-knuckle boxer Mike Perry, who lost by KO in the sixth round.

Tyson, who did not reveal his wallet for the fight, does not think much of Paul’s abilities in the ring.

“Can I be honest?” Tyson asked rhetorically in a recent interview with Esquire. “I don’t think he can hurt me.”
