Yellow Answers: Revealed and Explained

By a twist of fate, the yellow category was the last one I was able to solve today. Partly because novel and book could be a bit tricky if you got stuck on them, and partly because some of the other categories felt easier. Describing a feeling can always be a bit difficulteven with the right words, and in this case the connection of these four words seems counterintuitive at first glance. Seeing them together now is a little strange, but not impossible.

Green Answers: Revealed and Explained

For the same reason as above, this category was the second to last category I solved today. I added CHARTER and BOOK to this group last, mainly after the other words in the puzzle were taken, and I realized there was no “Words for bookcategory. RESERVE and SECURE gave me a clue as to what this category meant and it was more accessible. Luckily I didn’t have to guess on the book and novel puzzle as I saw there were no other words that fit.

Blue Answers: Revealed and Explained

I was able to solve this category first today as BANNER and STREAMER caught my attention first. After looking at the other possible words, I finally crossed out STREAMER and added BALLOON as it seemed more like general party decorations than words for a specific type of string decoration. It was still pretty lucky, since streamers can serve as party decorations, but I suspected that of all the words in this group, this one seemed to fit in the least and could be more easily classified in other categories.

Purple Answers: Revealed and Explained

After not putting STREAMER in the past category, I saw it and INFLUENCER and thought they probably go together. AMBASSADOR was pretty easy to add, but I had to make a decision for the last word. I thought there was a pretty much equal chance that CREATIVE and MODEL could be an online jobbut wasn’t sure which would be more acceptable. Luckily, I guessed correctly that MODEL seemed more likely and that the other choice belonged somewhere else. In this case, creative seemed a little too general for what the category was aiming for.
