TNT Sports prepares for the 2024/25 season

TNT Sports has unveiled its lineup for the 2024-25 season, featuring a host of premium live sports broadcasts designed to inspire emotion and passion like only sport can.

Football fans can join Lynsey Hipgrave, Peter Crouch and Joe Cole at Portman Road on August 17 for Ipswich Town’s match against Liverpool. It’s the first of 52 Premier League games to be broadcast live exclusively on TNT Sports this season, including two full midweek fixtures. Coverage includes special guest, Ipswich fan and Great Britain and Commonwealth champion Fabio Wardley – plus Crouch interviews fellow Ipswich Town fan Ed Sheeran.

In addition, the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League will be available to fans via TNT Sports and discovery+. The new, expanded format of the UEFA Champions League means viewers will be able to see more top-class European football than ever before.

Speaking at a recent TNT Sports event, Cole said: “Last season of football was one of the best we have ever seen but looking ahead to this season I feel it could be even better. With so much talent across the board, the Premier League is without doubt the strongest league in the world and I am excited to see what the new Champions League format will offer us. I can’t wait for it to get started.”

TNT Sports has also renewed the broadcasting rights for Serie A Made in Italy in the UK and Ireland. 76 matches will be broadcast live throughout the season, starting with Genoa vs Inter on August 17. Every Wednesday during the season, TNT Sports will broadcast a summary of all the goals scored during the previous Serie A weekend.

Selected UEFA Women’s Champions League matches will complement the extensive live football offering that fans can enjoy during the coming season. In addition, TNT Sports will broadcast one match each week from three of Europe’s top women’s leagues during the 2024–25 season: Division 1 (France), Liga F (Spain) and Frauen-Bundesliga (Germany).

In addition, new episodes of the second season of the TNT Sports TV series will be released on the first Friday of every month. Sign in – Into Footballa programme aimed at raising awareness of the deaf community and increasing the visibility of British Sign Language (BSL) in sports programmes. A new football documentary about the rise of Worthing FC, The club that George builtwill also premiere on TNT Sports and Discovery+ in October.

RUGBY

In addition to football coverage, the iconic Autumn Nations Series internationals will be broadcast live exclusively on TNT Sports and discovery+ for the first time, with all 21 games available in the UK and Ireland throughout November. Additionally, for the first time, every single Gallagher Premiership Rugby match will be available on TNT Sports and discovery+. Numerous Premiership Women’s Rugby matches will also continue to be broadcast on TNT Sports, as will every round of the HSBC World Rugby SVNS Series.

MARTIAL ARTS

Combat sports fans can also look forward to a variety of fight cards. UFC events will continue to be a staple of the weekend, while a new documentary on the history of mixed martial arts and cage fighting, titled Rise of the UFCwill premiere in September. Boxing fans will also be able to enjoy unique boxing nights from York Hall, including Nick Ball’s title defence at his home bout in Liverpool and major TNT Sports Box Office fights such as Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois for the IBF World Heavyweight Title at Wembley Stadium in September.

Motorsport enthusiasts can also watch all the live action from the MotoGP and Formula E World Championships exclusively live on TNT Sports, while fans of American sports will be treated to over 250 live NBA games in addition to Major League Baseball coverage in the 2024-25 season.

Finally, cricket fans can continue to enjoy international matches in Australia and India, including England’s One-Day International tour of the subcontinent in January and February 2025.
