Which team poses the biggest threat to the US team for the gold medal in men’s basketball?

There are still four teams competing in the men’s basketball tournament at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Two losing teams will compete for the bronze medal, while the two winners will have a chance at gold. The final two matches of the event will take place on Saturday.

Among the teams still in contention is the United States, which has beaten every opponent by double digits so far, including a 122-87 victory over Brazil in Tuesday’s quarterfinals. The Americans are led by Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards, who has averaged 16.8 points per game during the tournament. Former NBA MVPs Kevin Durant and LeBron James are following close behind, averaging 14.8 and 13.8 points per game, respectively.
The other remaining teams are Serbia, Germany and France, all of which boast top-class NBA talent.
