Tickets for the Feels Like Home Festival are available from Friday

Country music and barbecue.

That’s the delicious combination that the new Feels Like Home Festival is putting together for its fall appearance in Brownwood, according to organizers. The festival will feature barbecue specialties and a lineup of country artists.

Tickets for the Oct. 19 festival at the Brownwood Event Center Complex at 601 E Baker St. go on sale Friday, according to press releases. Tickets will be available at 10 a.m. at www.feelslikehomefest.com.

The family-friendly festival is suitable for all ages and the music line-up includes the group Midland as headliner, following the release of their latest album on September 20th.

The two-time Grammy-nominated Urban Cowboys are joined by fellow Texas musicians Casey Donahew, Micky and the Motorcars and Hudson Westbrook, as well as singer-songwriter Tyler Halverson, who just released “New Loop” for the film “Twisters.”

The festival also offers the public one of the first opportunities to tour the soon-to-open Brownwood Event Center, a multi-million dollar facility.
