This week the sunny and mild weather will remain

The dry, pleasant weather we are enjoying will continue for quite some time. The rest of the week will be predominantly sunny, with temperatures rising again to 25-27 degrees by mid to late week. Long-term weather models suggest isolated showers through the weekend; however, predominantly dry weather with above-average temperatures is expected for the weekend.

The rest of the afternoon will be sunny with highs between 18 and 21 degrees and just a light breeze from the southeast. A weak front will move across the region tonight, bringing a few clouds and possibly a drop or two after midnight, especially in the north.

This front will not have much of an impact on temperatures. In fact, today is the coolest day of the week. Tuesday will be mostly sunny with slightly warmer highs between 21 and 25 degrees. The high pressure system will continue to dominate our weather pattern for the rest of the week. As the high pressure system moves east late Wednesday, southerly flow will increase, bringing temperatures back to 25 to 27 degrees Celsius by Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Rain chances increase slightly through the weekend, with isolated showers possible late Saturday, Saturday night and into Sunday. However, rain chances are low and overall the weekend will be mostly dry and pleasant with highs around 21 degrees. Long-term weather models suggest we will maintain this dry, pleasant weather pattern well into next week.
