This gamer set a Guinness World Record by connecting 444 game consoles to a single TV

If you thought you had a great game collection, sit back… and let Ibrahim Al-Nasser blow your mind when he connected 444 game consoles to a single television, setting a Guinness World Record.

The organization behind Al-Nasser’s setup is simply amazing. The cable management reaches its peak here as the 444 consoles are connected via 30 x RCA switchers and at least 12 x HDMI switchers. Al-Nasser explains: “I realized I had a large stack of game consoles that I couldn’t play. TV connections are limited, so I had to either unplug existing consoles or add more switches and converters. I used every tool available on the market to organize the cables.“.

Al-Nasser added: “Adding more switches gave me the idea to connect all my game consoles to the TV and then contacted Guinness World Records because this project is unique. It involves hundreds of video game consoles, all different. All consoles require special setup and cable management.“.

His collection of 444 gaming consoles includes everything from the Magnavox Odyssey, the very first gaming console released in 1972, to the latest PlayStation 5 Slim, which launched in late 2023.

We are talking about any console, like Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Wii U, Sega Genesis and even super consoles like the Super A’Can. I agree with Al-Nasser when he said: “For me the best game console of all time, always and forever number one: Sega Genesis“. My brother and I put many hours into our Sega Genesis (known here in Australia as the Mega Drive) and those were some of the fondest games console memories of my life (until the Nintendo 64, that is).
