September 28th is National Sons Day, an opportunity for parents to celebrate their boys. However, if you think we’ve already done that, you’re right! National Sons Day occurs twice a year, the first time in March.

Best Things to Do in California with Sons

One of the best things about living in California is the countless things you can do no matter where you live. With a little help from Visit California and the Point Guys Here are some suggestions for things to do with your son National Sons Day.

  • Take a hike in nature. No matter where you live in California, a walk in the great outdoors isn’t far away. Forests, beaches, desert landscapes or just a stroll to landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge – the possibilities in the Golden State are endless.
  • Visit a zoo, aquarium or museum. Whether San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles or even Fresno, every major metropolitan area in California has a zoo or aquarium worth visiting. Our favorite if you’re near the Bay Area: The Explartourim in San Francisco, a wonderful hands-on science and technology museum.
  • Go to an amusement park. Again, California is home to numerous amusement parks of all kinds – from water parks to parks full of roller coasters.
