The Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington, has epic treehouses

The kid in all of us loves the idea of a treehouse. Immersed in nature, among tall trees, high above the ground. And that’s exactly what this Washington spot offers! If you’re up for a late summer/fall adventure in the woods, check out Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington, which has several treehouses to choose from.

In the lodge you will find an entire “treehouse village” that combines nature and comfort.

“Nestled in the towering Douglas firs of the Columbia River Gorge, Tree House Village at Skamania Lodge offers a unique and enchanting overnight experience,” they explain.

“Our treehouses, cabins and villas are designed to immerse you in the beauty of nature while enjoying all the comforts of modern living.”

The treehouses themselves are located above the forest floor and are “nestled in the tall Douglas firs of the Columbia River Gorge.”

Several houses are available. Amenities include a small kitchenette with microwave and mini-fridge, s’mores kits, board games, coffee, and cozy bathrobes.

Some of them are designed for two people, like the Spruce Tree Houses for couples’ getaways, while others, like the Alder Tree Houses and the Alpine Tree Houses, are big enough for families of four.

The highest are the Noble Tree Houses, which can accommodate four people and are the lodge’s newly built cabins.

Both treehouses are 40 feet high and offer breathtaking views of the Cascade Mountains and the jungle.

While these stays are beautiful, they definitely aren’t cheap. Treehouse stays start at $972, but are sure to be unforgettable!
