The sale of a house in Scottsdale for $17 million sets the price per square meter at

A north Scottsdale mansion sold for $17 million, setting the area’s record price per square foot. Investment advisors, a car dealership manager and a real estate agent were among the buyers and sellers of the most expensive homes sold in the Phoenix metropolitan area during the third week of July.

The Derryberry and Evans Trust paid cash for a new 9,686-square-foot mansion in the Silverleaf community in north Scottsdale. The five-bedroom, 6½-bathroom modern Mediterranean home sold for an area record price of $1,755 per square foot. The home features a bar, wine room, cold bath and linear fireplace in the master suite, as well as a game room with a balcony.

The sellers were Michale and McKenzie Perini. He is an investment advisor. The brokers were Brock Mackenzie and Deborah Beardsley of Silverleaf Realty.

BRT Properties of Wisconsin purchased a 7,915-square-foot new home in Scottsdale with five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The home has European oak floors, 24-foot ceilings, a kitchen with a steam oven and three dishwashers, a master bedroom shower that opens to a private patio with water features, a gym, a wine cellar, an outdoor kitchen and an indoor/outdoor bar. Kirk and Emily Linehan sold it. He is a real estate agent in the Valley.

Catherine and Rudger Hefner have purchased a new home in north Scottsdale. He is chief financial officer of the RWC Group, a bus and commercial vehicle group. Asteria 31 LLC, managed by Camelot Homes, has sold it.

Robert and Christina Annable bought a 5,300-square-foot home in north Scottsdale. He is a financial advisor. The home features five bedrooms, 4½ bathrooms, a gym, an office, 20-foot ceilings with wood beams, light oak floors, steel fireplaces, an outdoor kitchen and a built-in pergola. The sellers were James and Adrianne Caviness.

Jennifer and Robert Brazier purchased a new home with 4,800 square feet of living space in the Desert Mountain community in north Scottsdale. The home features four bedrooms, 4½ bathrooms, an elevator, a large kitchen island, an office and a large desk with a view. DM19 Builders LLC sold it.
