The new NFL season arrives on ESPN across Africa this September

JOHANNESBURG, September 4, 2024: ESPN viewers across Africa can look forward to the upcoming start of the new National Football League (NFL) season. On Friday, September 6, 2024, ESPN will broadcast four live games, highlights and studio programs each week during regular programming hours, ensuring no moment of football action is missed.

The season promises to be an exciting journey as teams compete for 18 action-packed weeks leading up to the highly anticipated Super Bowl in February 2025. This year’s Super Bowl will pit the Eastern Conference and Western Conference champions against each other in New Orleans and is undoubtedly one of the most thrilling live sporting events on the global calendar.

Make a note of the first games of the season:

  • Friday, September 6, 2024, 2:20 a.m.: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Baltimore Ravens
  • Saturday, September 7, 2024, 2:15 a.m.: Philadelphia Eagles vs. Green Bay Packers
  • Sunday, September 8, 2024, 7:00 p.m.: New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers
  • Sunday, September 8, 2024, 7:00 p.m.: New York Giants vs. Minnesota Vikings
