The most expensive cinema experience in New Jersey

The secret is out… most of us are broke this summer. Forget the fancy vacations and time abroad; most of us are lucky enough to secure a getaway somewhere local. Many people, especially here in the Garden State, are actually opting for more local experiences that don’t cost a fortune.

Trips like bowling, ice skating and going to the movies have been making a big comeback lately.

When was the last time you went to the movies? Can you even remember? So many of us here in New Jersey haven’t been to the movies since before the pandemic. But that’s changed recently.

The most expensive movie tickets in New Jersey

While movie tickets aren’t as cheap as they were ten years ago, it’s still better than paying for an expensive trip, right? In tough times, you have to do something to keep yourself entertained.

It’s unlikely that movie theaters will suffer as much of a decline as many malls here in the Garden State. Sure, there are plenty of streaming platforms these days, but some blockbuster movies can’t be watched on the TV screen in your living room. Some are just too epic and MUST be experienced on the big screen.

If you haven’t already, go see Twisters in the theater. It’s SO good!

Still, it can’t hurt to make sure your wallet is still intact after a trip to the movies. Thanks to the folks at AirportParkingReservations.com, you now know where to save a few bucks on your next trip to the movies.

Here are the movie ticket prices from cheapest to most expensive that you will find in the Garden State:

Movie for 2 Cost ($)

Camden – $28.00

Newark – $28.00

Cherry Hill – $28.00

Tom’s River – $29.00
