Ben Affleck has built a successful career in Hollywood over the years through his work as an actor, writer, producer and director of blockbuster films.
Affleck was born on August 15, 1972 in Berkeley, California and grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

In 2003, he starred in “Daredevil” with Jennifer Garner, who became his wife in 2005. The couple divorced in 2018. The couple have three children together: Violet Anne Affleck, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck and Samuel Garner Affleck.
Affleck starred alongside Jennifer Lopez in the film “Gigli.” He married Lopez in 2022.
The couple met in 2002, when she was still married to Chris Judd. She and Affleck were engaged by the end of the year, but split before tying the knot.
Affleck and Lopez began dating again in 2021 and married in 2022. The status of their marriage was called into question in 2024, as the couple appears to be living separately.
In 2010, Affleck directed and starred in the film The Town, which was shot in his home state of Boston and premiered at Fenway Park.

Two years later, he directed and played the leading role in the film “Argo”.

In 2023, he directed the film “Air,” which highlighted the partnership between Nike and then-rookie Michael Jordan.
