After the Broncos rewarded cornerback Patrick Surtain II with a contract that pays him an average of $24 million in new money, Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey surpassed Surtain with $24.1 million in new money per year.

The full guarantee at signing is $50.335 million, but that includes the signing bonus Ramsey received when most of his 2024 base salary was converted into a signing bonus.
The only new guarantee is $24.35 million, after which the Dolphins could move on after two years and $51.2 million.
