“The Boys” star Valorie Curry talks about “deeply uncomfortable” fan incident

The boys Star Valorie Curry recently discussed an unpleasant experience with fans.

Curry shared a video message on his Instagram stories describing the incident at a Comic-Con event in Belfast.

In the video, the actress praised the majority of fans for their kindness and respect, while also stating that two people had crossed personal boundaries by repeatedly bringing up some of her character’s controversial scenes.

“But we need to talk about boundaries and appropriate behavior,” says Curry.

She continues, “I know people have seen a character I play on ‘The Boys’ do really extreme things, and I don’t care if you’re in costume, I don’t care if you’re in character – it’s not OK and it’s not funny to ask those things of me in person on my booth. It’s not OK.”

“Honestly, I made it pretty clear to the person who did this repeatedly today that this was not OK, and that just seemed to make that person and their boyfriend angry. I didn’t think it needed an explanation, but I was deeply uncomfortable – it was pretty clear that I was uncomfortable,” the actress added.

Curry noted that she was happy to meet fans, but warned that if such incidents continue to be crossed, they may prevent her from attending future events.
