The Blue Angels completed their final air show in Kentucky on Sunday and will now fly directly to Oceana, Virginia, where the U.S. Navy flight demonstration team will be the star of the NAS Oceana Air Show.
The Oceana Air Show will feature the F-22 Raptor demonstration team and the Blue Angels, along with over a dozen other acts, including the world’s largest rubber duck.
General admission to the two-day air show is free, but you can still snag premium seats for the show, although tickets sell out quickly.

When will the Oceana Air Show 2024 take place?
Gates to the Oceana Air Show open at 8am daily, but the show doesn’t officially start until 10am. The two-day air show takes place on Saturday and Sunday.
Is there a fixed schedule for the 2024 Oceana Air Show?
The Oceana Air Show has not yet released an exact schedule, but has given an overview of how the show will unfold. The artists will take to the skies around 10 p.m. Between 11 a.m. and noon, the national anthem and several military displays will be performed. After noon, the pace of the show will increase.
When will the Blue Angels fly at the 2024 Oceana Air Show?
The Blue Angels flight is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Despite fluctuating weather forecasts, the Oceana Air Show is set to go ahead as planned, according to organizers. The air show usually goes ahead whatever the weather, but organizers say they would adjust or cancel the show if weather or other circumstances arise that pose a serious threat to life or property.

Will there be premium seating at the 2024 Oceana Air Show?
Premium seating for the Oceana Air Show is available, but it is selling out quickly. Executive Squadron Chalet and Super Hornet reserved seating is sold out, leaving Tomcat Bleacher Seating and Skyhawk General Seating.
The following is still available at the time of publication:
Saturday
- Tomcat Grandstand Seating ($15 presale, $20 day of event): Unassigned seating in the grandstand. Fewer than 40 tickets available at time of publication.
Sunday
- Tomcat Grandstand Seating ($15 in advance, $20 same-day): Unassigned seating in the grandstand.
- Skyhawk General Seating ($20 in advance, $25 same day): Seating without assigned chairs.

Oceana Air Show 2024 Parking Information
Parking at the Oceana Air Show is free. Once you arrive at the show, the security team will direct you to parking spots, which can be found along the flight line, at the main entrance, and in parking lots throughout the grounds.
Anyone requiring a disabled or special parking space should display their parking permit in a clearly visible location and will be directed to the appropriate parking space.

What can I bring to the 2024 Oceana Air Show?
- Mobile phones, tablets and FRS transceivers (may be prompted to turn on and off)
- Portable TVs, radios and scanners
- Small belt bags and wallets
- Cameras and camcorders (owners may be required to open all compartments at security checkpoints and allow security personnel to inspect equipment)
- Camera bags will be searched upon entry
- Folding chairs and garden chairs (chairs in bags can be searched)
- Umbrellas
- Wheelchairs, mobility aids and other motorised means of transport
- Baby bags and strollers if you are coming with an infant or toddler (strollers are not permitted in the grandstand area or paid seating areas; adjacent stroller parking is available). Handcarts are permitted to carry children in lieu of a stroller.

- Cool boxes or cool boxes
- Remote-controlled aircraft, drones, balloons (flight safety problem)
- All weapons (regardless of permit), including firearms, knives (including pocket knives and multi-tools) and any other items that our security forces deem dangerous. This rule applies to police officers who are off duty. Confiscated items will not be returned.
- Alcoholic beverage
- Drugs, including marijuana
- CBD/THC vaporizer
- Pets (except service animals)
- Glass container
- Bicycles, roller skates, rollerblades or skateboards
- Food and drinks brought along (empty water bottles and baby items such as milk and milk powder are permitted)
