The Pixel 9 range runs on Google’s Tensor G4 processor and Android 14, although Android 15 is due to arrive soon. As for other specs, the premium Google Pixel 9 Pro XL model has a 6.8-inch OLED display, a 5,060mAh battery, and is available with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage, as well as 16GB of RAM. If you buy the Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, or Pixel 9 Pro Fold, you’ll also get one year of Google One AI Premium, six months of Fitbit Premium, and three months of YouTube Premium. If you opt for the base Pixel 9, you’ll still get six months of Google One Premium (2TB) and Fitbit Premium, and three months of YouTube Premium.

Those who join Google Fi Wireless can get an additional $500 back on their new Pixel phone, paid out in the form of 24 monthly bill credits.

If you upgrade to a carrier through the Google Store, there are also some deals. At Verizon, you can get up to $800 off the Pixel 9 or Pixel 9 Pro XL with an eligible trade-in.

While there are no direct discounts on the updated Pixel 9 lineup, when you pre-order your Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, or Pixel 9 Pro XL from Best Buy, the retailer is currently including a gift card that you can use on a future purchase. The base model Pixel 9 will get you a $100 gift card, while the 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL will get you a $200 gift card. If you opt for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, you’ll get a free $350 gift card with your purchase. As a new subscriber, you’ll also get 100GB of Google One storage for three months.

And if you’re ready to part with an older device, you can save up to $1,099 through Best Buy’s trade-in program. Most phones will fetch significantly less than that, though, so be sure to check your specific model to get a better idea of ​​what credit you can expect.

Amazon is offering a $100 gift card with pre-orders of the Pixel 9 and a $200 gift card with pre-orders of the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL, while supplies last.

There is also an opportunity to receive a $350 gift card when purchasing the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, but this is currently unavailable. We will be watching to see if and when the retailer brings this offer back online.

The best Pixel 9 deals with one carrier

When you preorder from AT&T, you can get double storage on the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL through August 21. Plus, you can get the 9 Pro or 9 Pro XL for free when you trade in an eligible Pixel phone. AT&T accepts Pixel phones from any year and in any condition.

At Verizon, you can get double the storage for free when you pre-order the Pixel 9 or Pixel 9 Pro XL. And right now, you can also get up to $900 off a new Pixel 9 series phone at Verizon with a qualified trade-in and a new port. That essentially gets you the base Pixel 9 for free. To qualify for the trade-in credit, Verizon will accept phones in any condition, but you must have the Unlimited Ultimate plan.

No phone to trade in? No problem. With a new line, you can save $620 on the Pixel 9, $640 on the Pixel 9 Pro, and $660 on the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, no trade-in required.

You can get up to $1,000 off a new line on the Go5G Plus or Go5G Next plans, or get the same offer when you trade in an eligible device on those plans. Whichever option you choose, you’ll get the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, or Pixel 9 Pro XL for free. Other offers include up to $600 in savings on other qualifying plans, or up to $500 in trade-in credit when you trade in an eligible device on a GoG5, Magenta, or One plan.

You can also get double the storage for free when you pre-order the Pixel 9 or Pixel 9 Pro XL from T-Mobile. Note that this deal ends on August 21 and only applies to Obsidian color phones.
