The best looks from the catwalk

The British Fashion Council is pulling out all the stops this season, as 2024 will mark the 40th anniversary of London Fashion Week—four decades of classic tailoring, groundbreaking designs and emerging talent. To honor the milestone, the BFC has staged a retrospective at 180 Studios, the focal point of London Fashion Week this season. Of course, alongside the celebrations will be the shows, which kick off on Thursday evening with Harris Reed’s first scheduled presentation. Speaking of premieres, SS Daley will present its first womenswear collection, and Standing Ground will host its first solo show, a particularly exciting moment given Michael Stewart’s win of the LVMH Prize earlier this week. Of course, London regulars like Burberry, JW Anderson and Simone Rocha will be there too, alongside Richard Quinn, Erdem and the return of Nensi Dojaka after a two-year hiatus. And thanks to BFC’s hugely successful Newgen incubation program, a handful of emerging designers including Chet Lo, Karoline Vitto and Di Petsa will be making their grand entrance, reinforcing London’s status as the capital for emerging designers. You won’t want to miss a showcase, so keep checking back here as we’ll keep you updated on our favorite fashion moments from each major show.
