Molly Gordon, who plays Claire, rocked the red carpet at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 15, in a stunning black dress. Her co-star Liza Colon-Zayas also made a statement in a custom-made green dress by Christian Siriano as she posed for photos with her husband David Zayaswho had a cameo appearance in the third season.
The bear leads the pack this year with a total of 23 Emmy nominations, including Best Comedy Series for its acclaimed second season, which premiered in June 2023. This surpasses the Emmy record of 22 nominations set by 30 rocks since 2009. (The all-time series record of 32 nominations is held by HBO’s game of Thrones.)
In addition to the ensemble nominations, stars Jeremy Allen White And Ayo Edebiri are nominated for the positions “Lead Actor in a Comedy” and “Lead Actress”. Ebon Moss-Bachrach And Lionel Boyceare both nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy, while Colón-Zayas is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy. Christopher Storer And Ramy Youssef are nominated for outstanding directing in a comedy series for the respective episodes “Fishes” and “Honeydew”.
Last week, Jamie Lee Curtis took home her first Emmy for Best Guest Actress for her role as matriarch Donna Berzatto in the hit FX series at the Creative Arts Emmys on September 7 and 8.
“I’m the luckiest girl in the world. I’ve been an actress since I was 19. I’m 65. I spent seven years selling sick yogurt, and I never thought I’d be able to work at this level, with this depth, complexity and intelligence,” Curtis said backstage at the ceremony. “To have these opportunities has been the highlight of my creative life over the last few years, so I’m humbled and incredibly grateful.”
