The Bachelorette finale will not be broadcast for DirecTV customers

The broadcast dispute between Disney and DirecTV has already ruined the weekend for college football fans, and now some viewers are upset that the situation will likely disrupt their plans for The Bachelorette Final.

As early as Sunday, shortly after the Disney networks, including ABC and ESPN, were shut down for DirectTV customers, fans of the franchise took to social media to point out that they would not be able to watch the finale live if the matter was not resolved by Tuesday evening.

“Apparently DIRECTV and Disney/ABC couldn’t come to an agreement and now their channels are unavailable,” wrote one X user on September 1. “Um, how am I supposed to watch this? The Bachelorette Finale on Tuesday?! I can’t wait for the next day without seeing any spoilers!”

Another user tagged both companies and wrote: “Please resolve your disagreement soon.” The Bachelorette The final is tomorrow night and I have to see how it turns out! Thanks, a paying customer!”

The contract between the two companies expired on Sunday, and DirecTV pulled the plug on its Disney-owned channels shortly before ESPN’s broadcast of kickoff for the USC-LSU game at 7:30 p.m. ET.

As of Tuesday evening, the broadcast dispute is still ongoing, and all of DirecTV’s 11 million-plus subscribers can no longer access the Disney networks. This means that The Bachelorette The finale remains unavailable to viewers despite their protests on social media.

Fortunately, all episodes of the series will be available on Hulu the next day, but you’ll have to avoid spoilers in the meantime.
