The annual Harvest Festival and Food Truck Rally will take place again this fall at Dequindre Cut

The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy’s annual Harvest Festival and Food Truck Rally returns to Dequindre Cut this fall.

According to the Conservation Department, it will take place on Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature food trucks, live music, trick-or-treating and more.

Presented by Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, the event also features a grab-and-go pumpkin patch, inflatable bounce houses and hands-on activities for kids.

Admission to the event is $5 per person in advance and $8 at the door the weekend of the event. Children under 3, seniors (65+), active military and veterans are admitted free.

This is the fourth year the event has been held and organizers are expecting 50 food trucks – one of the largest food truck gatherings to take place in Michigan this year.

Stretching from Wilkins Street Plaza near Eastern Market to Jefferson at the Cut, these food trucks offer Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican, vegetarian, soul food, desserts and more.

Children are also encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes while trick-or-treating. There will be 12 candy stalls and two alleys down Grenway.

There will also be four stages with live music. A full list of music acts will be announced later in the year.
