The Houston Texans intercepted Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams twice and sacked the rookie seven times en route to a narrow 19-13 victory.

Williams looked like a rookie on the Texans’ defense. The pressure Houston put on the Bears’ offensive line was enough to wreak havoc on the USC product. He threw one interception to Kamar Lassiter and the other to Derek Stingley Jr.

Henry To’oTo’o, Jalen Pitre and Azeez Al-Shaair all had double-digit tackle numbers. To’oTo’o had 13 tackles and Pitre and Al-Shaair each had 10 tackles. Danielle Hunter and Will Anderson Jr. also each had 1.5 sacks.

Houston’s pressure made Williams sweat on his final two drives, throwing his receivers too far whenever four or more defenders blitzed him. The quarterback finished the game 23 of 37 passing for 174 passing yards. He has yet to throw a touchdown pass in his first two games.

The Texans’ offense was not able to score at will.
