Tennessee Football OT eliminated from game against Oklahoma due to injury

NORMAN, Okla. – Tennessee right tackle and Oklahoma defensive back Kendel Dolby were injured in a collision, but one of them definitely got it the worst.

Campbell blocked Dolby on a running play midway through the second quarter. Both fell to the ground and remained on the ground.

After less than a minute, Campbell jumped up and appeared to be OK, but then he fell again and eventually limped off the field.

Dolby was not so lucky. He was carried off the field while the entire Oklahoma team ran to greet him as he walked to the locker room.

Campbell’s injury is notable because Tennessee is already without left tackle Lance Heard, who missed the game due to injury.

Dayne Davis, the sixth-year senior, filled in for Heard at left tackle. After Campbell’s injury, Davis moved to right tackle and Larry Johnson came in at left tackle.
