TEAM SHEET: Welcome back to Mail Sport’s new football memory game… Man United inflicted their heaviest 8-2 defeat on Arsenal in 2012, their heaviest in 84 years, but can YOU remember the Red Devils’ starting XI that day?

Are you up for the challenge? Well, here we are again for another day with Teamsheet… Mail Sports original football memory game where you can show off your knowledge and brag to your friends.

Each matchday, you’ll be asked to name a starting XI from a random match in Premier League history. You’ll be given a team’s approximate line-up and told how many letters each player’s surname has. The challenge is to get all 11 stars with as few guesses as possible.

For each guess, one point is added to your total score. The BEST possible score is 11. When you’re done, share your result with friends, family and colleagues. But remember: it’s just for fun. And when you’re done, you can choose a team and we’ll create a second team sheet for you.

You can play two games a day and choose ANY club – from Huddersfield to Manchester City – that has played in the Premier League since 2006. Premier League matches from 1992-2006 will be available in the coming weeks.

Yesterday we reminded you of a tough day for Manchester United fans, as the Red Devils lost 7-0 to Liverpool. Today we look back to better times for the club, when they beat Arsenal 8-2 in 2012. But do you remember who Sir Alex Ferguson fielded that day?

Go well!

HOW TO PLAY

The aim of the game is to score as many points as possible. few points as possible!

If you guess a player on the first try, you get one point – the lowest score for guessing everyone Player on first attempt is 11.

If you guess a correct letter in the right place, the indicator turns green. If you guess a correct letter in the wrong place, the indicator turns yellow.

You have six guesses for each player. If you can’t remember a player, you can ask for a free letter, but that will cost you one point and one guess. And when you’ve used up all six guesses, we’ll tell you the name, but that will cost you 11 points.

So keep playing to see if you can get the best possible total score of 11 – or if you fail every player and reach 121.

You can play two games a day, so be sure to come back tomorrow..
