Youngsters Jack Porter and Josh Nichols make their senior debuts, while Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri also start. Raheem Sterling also makes his first start.

Players on the bench include academy players Alexei Rojas, Maldini Kacurri, Ayden Heaven and Ismeal Kabia.

David Raya is out with a thigh injury, Neto is suspended for the cup and Leandro Trossard is serving a one-match suspension.
