A new teaser trailer for Ryan Murphy’s upcoming FX series was released on Thursday Grotesque-However, viewers who want to know more about Travis Kelce’s role will have to wait a little longer, as his hard-to-miss appearance in the teaser does not reveal any new details.
Kelce appears briefly in the teaser at about a minute and ten seconds and doesn’t speak – but he is expected to say more than a few lines in the show, which premieres on Hulu on September 25.
grotesque will likely attract additional viewers as Taylor Swift’s NFL boyfriend is featured in his first television role. In May, it was announced that Kelce had agreed to appear in the series, which follows a detective, played by Niecy Nash-Betts, who tries to solve a series of heinous crimes in a small town. The rest of the cast includes Courtney B. Vance, Lesley Manville, Micaela Diamond, Nicholas Alexander Chavez and Raven Goodwin.
Kelce has spoken openly about his desire to invest his newfound popularity in an acting career. He said on his New heights Podcast earlier this year that he is actively “looking for film deals.” Since landing his first role not playing himself (he previously appeared in the John C. Reilly comedy series) Moonbase 8)Kelce and Nash-Betts have shared some of their backstage experiences on Instagram, where Nash-Betts first broke the news that Kelce would be her co-star. As for his other on-screen projects, Kelce will host Are you smarter than a star? on Prime Video and was also executive producer of the film My dead friend Zoe.
Fans are excited to see if Kelce can handle a serious role – but according to his co-star, he’s not that bad. Nash-Betts told Entertainment Tonight she was “pleasantly surprised” by Kelce’s acting skills.
