Sylvester Stallone signs contract for $25 million house in East Hampton

Yo Adrian, Sylvester Stallone did it! Or at least he probably will soon.

The film legend – known from “Rocky” and “Rambo” – has signed a purchase agreement for a property at 9 Hither Lane in East Hampton, the New York Post reported. The house was last listed for $25 million. If the house sells at list price, the deal would be $2,147 per square foot.

Stallone wants to pay for the eight-bedroom property entirely in cash. The house will not serve as Stallone and his wife’s primary residence, but rather as their daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet.

Spanning more than 11,000 square feet, the new home was designed by interior designer James Michael Howard. The turnkey home features numerous antiques, furnishings, finishes and artwork.

The home features a great room, eat-in kitchen, formal dining room, family room with fireplace, laundry room, screening room and master bedroom. There are additional bedrooms on the upper and lower floors, including a junior suite with balcony.

Located just one mile from the ocean, the 1.1-acre property’s amenities include the typical Hamptons combination of pool and pool house.

The “Tulsa King” committed to buying the house after two video tours; he never came to see the East Hampton property in person.

Martha Gundersen and Paul Brennan of Douglas Elliman had the listing.

Last year, Stallone sold his Hidden Hills, California home for $17 million to another celebrity, Creedence Clearwater Revival singer John Fogerty. Stallone had purchased the four-bedroom, eight-bathroom home in February 2022 for $18.1 million. Less than a year later, he listed the property for $22.5 million. Stallone ultimately made a $1 million loss.

Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin live in Florida, where they bought a 10,500-square-foot mansion in Palm Beach for $35.4 million.
